I have proudly served as the Mayor of Avondale Estates since March, 2015. I am a native Georgian, graduate of Georgia Tech and Clemson University, husband, and dad of three. I am a licensed architect and have had my own practice since 2000.
Our family moved to Avondale Estates in 2007 in search of a larger home for our family. What we found was a fantastic small town. But I felt our business district was being underutilized and could be so much more for the benefit of all. So I ran for Mayor to try and help bring growth to our city.
Since being elected, I have led the Board to approve over $120 million in new construction, to approve a zoning rewrite and street grid study, to conduct a design competition for a new town green and development in the heart of our Central Business District. We also green-lighted the renovation of Willis Park and approved our first residential tree ordinance. Together with the Board, we are moving Avondale Estates to path of sustainability for generations to come. And I respectfully ask for your vote to continue the work that we started.
